What is a PE Drum?

PE drums are plastic chemical containers designed to safely store chemical substances prone to degradation. These containers are particularly suitable for strong acids, alkalis, and other chemical products, as they resist rust and corrosion under all climate conditions, ensuring the contents remain uncontaminated.

There are three types of PE drums available: Clover Type, Mauser Type, and another Clover Type variation. You can select the type that best fits your needs. We primarily import Mauser products for production, while Clover Type drums are manufactured in collaboration with Clover Chemical in Korea.

These drums are widely used by large corporations and mid-sized companies, often leading to supply shortages. Consequently, many customers are also exploring recycled container options.

What is an IBC Tank?

IBC tanks are commonly used for export, designed to facilitate easy container loading. Made from high-density polyethylene, IBC tanks, like PE drums, are resistant to strong acids and alkalis, making them suitable for the safe storage of chemical products and applicable across various fields.

We offer four types of IBC tanks: new, semi-new, washed used products, and waste-specific products.

• A new IBC tank includes both a brand-new liner and metal frame.
• A semi-new tank has a new liner and a used metal frame.
• Washed used products and waste-specific products are entirely pre-owned but thoroughly cleaned and processed to remove any residual substances, ensuring safe use.

Designated waste includes items such as waste paint, oils, minerals, organic solvents, acids, alkalis, toxic substances, and pesticides. Cheoldang is equipped to handle difficult-to-manage waste materials, so please contact us if you require assistance.

Containers that hold designated waste from business sites must also be managed as designated waste. Such containers must be transported in wing-body vehicles approved for waste collection, ensuring safe and compliant transportation. We recommend using a professional service for this process.
